GENERAL
After my official announcement of the Innovation Factory on my social media channels:
Facebook
LinkedIn

the response has been tremendous, both publicly and privately. Visit to the Innovation Factory’s site was also significant, with eCoconuts generating the most views of all listed projects. These stats, outreach, inquiries and meeting requests that I’ve been receiving will better inform me of potential direction adjustment or resource allocation for the established 2025 roadmap for the IF.

While some development did take place this week, it was minimal. More effort was put into further process restructuring and deeper utilization of Coda for project management and planning.

MARKETING

All landing pages for active projects were completed. We are running another QA check on them, a few need their analytics code re-integrated.
We will hold off on any Social Media page creation or promotion at this stage for individual projects, besides the IF itself.

Continued work on research and strategy side of this, including ideal events to attend over the next 6 months and key attendees and organizers to approach.
Beginning work towards

Added Communities integration assigned to countries for a “deeper user connection” to countries of interest. This was incorporated into the
As a result, changed logic in search and filter section of application. Still some tweaks to be done, but general function works as expected

Came across a LinkedIn post a few days ago that pulled Failup from back burner, closer to the front. Post was from a  Caribbean entrepreneur who shared how he had been battling depression and stress for the last few months. It was a raw and honest post that really resonated, as it touches on points that many(if not all) entrepreneurs experience at some point(sometimes multiple points) in their journey.

As a result, my creative juices started flowing and I began to imagine FailUp as a support community for Entrepreneurs. Even got clarity with a new tagline and supporting call out:
“A Safe Space to (Crash)Land. Regroup. ReLaunch” – Still considering changing ReLaunch to ReStart.

“For Entrepreneurs that are human”.

Finalizing branding and also prelim dev discovery: checking out ideal platform structure and features to MVP and ease of growth beyond.
